the suffering of the trivial

Since I moved many years ago to São Paulo, the largest metropolis in the southern hemisphere, I have never had the same peace that I had in the interior of the country. There is no sleep here and there is no silence here. I ask people, and they don't know what peace is: ''What is peace?'' My God! This place is a monumental complex of countless street scenes that terribly overlap in an endless circle. I have to tell the stories of this place to everyone.
